Bird Watching

We have many bird watching clubs and groups who chose to at the Getaway. There are many beautiful birds to watch and even hand feed in our own resort gardens.

Bird fanciers can join in organised bird watching trips to learn more about the ecology, wildlife and bird life in the area. Go Birding Tours offer one day tours in a comfortable seven-seater minibus, allowing you to catch a glimpse of indigenous birds in their native habitat, including the Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, the magnificent King Parrot, the Blue-winged Parrot, Olive Whistler, Forest Raven, Bassian Thrush and Satin Bowerbird.
