Festivals

Starting from the 21st October 2011, Aireys will be having Live music every weekend at different venues throughout the town. If you would like  more information regarding these events, then go to the town`s website www.aireysinlet.org.au

The music will be mainly Acoustic ranging from amateur to professional.

Local writers, artists and musicians gather in Aireys Inlet  in the second week of August  for the Aireys Inlet "Festival of Words", which provides an excellent forum in which they can display their talents before an appreciative and supportive audience. The event is held every second year, next Festival will be in 2013.

The Aireys Inlet Fair is a great event staged at the local community hall over the Melbourne Cup weekend. Visitors can savour gourmet food, have a drink in the wine and beer tents, or pick up a bargain in more than 50 market stalls. There is also lots of fun on offer for kids, including a giant slide, jumping castles and face painting. The Aireys Inlet "Open Mic" Festival is held on the third weekend in March and is enjoying growing support with its emphasis on promoting a rich variety of music.

In September each year the Angair Activities’ Annual Wildflower and Art Show is staged at the Memorial Hall in Anglesea, with spectacular displays of native flowers. Visitors can also join in guided walks and bus tours to see indigenous flowers in their natural habitat.
