Fresh Produce

A visit to Gentle Annie Berry Gardens, a ten-acre working farm in the Pennyroyal Valley 20 minutes from Lorne, offers a great family day out and the chance to pick your own seasonal berries, including strawberries, raspberries and gooseberries. The farm is open to the public for six months each year from November 1 to April 30 and visitors can also purchase a range of jams, chutney, sauces, cordials & gift boxes. Kids can also play on an old tractor while mum and dad enjoy a quiet lunch or Devonshire tea. If it’s fresh seafood you’re after, Lorne Fisheries, located on the pier along the point from the main beach, is the place to go. Supplied daily by local fishing boats, Lorne Fisheries provides a wide variety of seafood and succulent shellfish. The Aireys Inlet General Store also has some wonderful local fresh produce.
