Walking/Hiking
Guests can easily access the Lighthouse Precinct walk, which is just up the hill from the Aireys Inlet Getaway and features various points of local interest, including the town’s iconic Split Point Lighthouse, the historic Bark Hut, the Allen Noble Sanctuary, the Memorial Cairn and other heritage listed buildings.
The 3.5 kilometre Cliff Top walk starts at the Split Point Lighthouse and provides wonderful ocean and coastline views.
The challenging Surf Coast walk begins at Jan Juc near Torquay and finishes at the Moggs Creek picnic ground. The scenery is spectacular and well worth the effort.
The more adventurous can explore the rugged stretch of coastline below the first section of the Great Ocean Road by walking from Fairhaven Surf Club to Lorne pier at low tide.
